I have taught in the Mobile County Public School System for 22 years- 14 at John Will Elementary and 8 at Maryvale Elementary.  My classroom experiences are in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades, and I am currently the Title I Facilitator and Intervention Teacher. I earned my National Board of Certified Teachers certificate in Early and Middle Literacy in 2008.  Before I began my education career, I was a Medical Technologist having earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Eastern Illinois University.  After earning my Masters of Arts in Teaching from Spring Hill College I began my career as an educator.  My husband and I have four children and five grandchildren.
