If you need to meet with your child’s teacher, please send a note in your child’s **Communication Folder**, send a message through **Rooms**, or email the teacher. Teachers will be available during their planning time, which corresponds with your child’s **PE schedule**.
### A Few Important Reminders
1. **Arrival Time:** Students should not arrive on campus before **7:30 a.m.** Please do not drop students off before this time.
2. **Breakfast:** Breakfast doors close at **7:52 a.m.** Instruction begins promptly at **8:00 a.m.** Please make sure your child arrives on time and is ready to learn.
3. **School Uniforms:** All students are expected to be in proper uniform every day:
* Royal blue polo-style shirts **or** white button-down shirts with a school tie
* Khaki pants, shorts, or skorts
* Belts
* Solid black athletic shoes
* **5th Grade students wear gold shirts**
4. **Bookbags & Water Bottles:** Only **clear bookbags and clear water bottles** are permitted.
5. **Drinks:** Students should not bring juice or other drinks to school. **Water and snacks are available for purchase daily.**
6. **Student Fees:** If you have already paid your student fees, **thank you!** We are still collecting fees from families who have not yet paid.

Growth Is Our Goal!
Welcome to a new year! Parents please do not forget Meet and Greet today Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 4-6pm. This is an opportunity for you and your child to meet his or her teacher. You may also drop off supplies. Make sure your child name is on all supplies. You will receive import ant documents as well.
We are excited to offer FREE student uniforms on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Maryvale Elementary School.
Please note the following:
Student and parent/guardian must be present to receive uniforms.
Limited sizes are available and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
No exchanges or returns will be permitted, so please choose sizes carefully.

Our Bridges Program at Maryvale Elementary will be held next week, Monday through Wednesday, July 27–29, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Welcome back to another school year.! Please register your child online before Meet and Greet which will be held Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 4:00-6:00pm. You must have all of your proper documentation when you are registering your child. Do not submit until you upload your documents .You will need an up to date lease, tax assessment, utility bills must be dated after May 1, 2026. If your child is new to MCPSS refer to Mcpss website.. You must come out to complete dismissal form your child and pay your registration fee. Parents/Guardians will not be allowed to walk their child to class on the first day. of school. Students will be on a regular school day schedule. Again, I encourage you to register your child and come to Meet and Greet.

Early Registration Details
Early Registration will be held on June 23–24, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. During this time, parents and guardians will be able to complete important school procedures, including:
Completing dismissal information logs
Receiving car tags
Completing bus transportation forms
There is $25 registration fee per student. This fee helps support school needs, including assistance from retired teachers and substitute staff who provide support with student academic and behavioral needs.











**📢 Attention Parents of Third-Grade Students**
Maryvale Elementary School will administer the ACAP Supplemental Test for eligible third-grade students on:
